James Sommerfeldt has over 25 years of experience in technology management and support, currently serving as the Digital Services Manager for the Oneida Nation since December 1995. In this role, James oversees the Customer Support Center, Desktop Services Teams, and IT Project and Portfolio Management Office, focusing on advancing strategic objectives. Previously, James held positions as MIS Business System Analyst and MIS Customer Support Supervisor, where responsibilities included enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing productivity, and managing support costs through effective leadership and process alignment with organizational priorities. Earlier in the career, James worked as a Sales Manager at PC Specialists, Inc. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Science from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and completed general education at Rhinelander High School.
