Erin Riley

Erin Riley is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in cannabis law, election law, and legislative policy consulting. Currently serving as Senior Director at O'Neill and Associates since January 2022, Erin previously held the position of Attorney & Policy Consultant at Layline Strategies, LLC, where strategic advice on legislative issues was provided. As the General Counsel and Legislative Director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from January 2015 to January 2019, Erin acted as legal counsel and chief policy advisor to Senator L'Italien, managing significant legislative agendas and facilitating stakeholder negotiations. Erin also demonstrated leadership as Campaign Manager for Senator L'Italien, securing election victories and organizing a supportive coalition of advocates. Early career roles included positions with the Joint Committee on Labor & Workforce Development and various legal internships. Erin holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a cum laude BA in Government and Economics from Connecticut College.
