David Westcott

David Westcott has extensive experience in the field of ASIC and FPGA design engineering. David started their career in 1982 at Stanford Telecommunications, Inc, where they served as the Director of the Military Avionics department and also worked as a Program Manager and System Engineer for GPS receiver design. In 1992, they joined Digital Imagineering Labs as a GPS System/ASIC Design Consultant, working on projects for Trimble Navigation and Raytheon. From 2005 to 2012, David worked at Symmetricom as an RTL/FPGA Design Engineer, focusing on DOCSIS Timing Interfaces and developing proprietary timing interfaces. David then returned to Digital Imagineering in 2012 as a consultant, specializing in ASIC/FPGA/RTL/System Design and working on projects for MicroSemi. Most recently, David joined oneNav, Inc. in 2020 as an ASIC Design Engineer.

David Westcott has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in Digital Systems Design from Stanford University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BSEE) from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Professional Consultant from PATCA in May 2014.
