Head Of Modelisation And Simulation Group For Aeroelasticity at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab

Antoine Placzek has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a trainee at Inergy Automotive Systems in 2003. Antoine then worked as a trainee at Volkswagen AG and EDF, gaining further experience in Engineering. In 2006, they joined DCN as a trainee for a Master's internship. Concurrently, they began their PhD research at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where they continued as a Research Engineer in Aeroelasticity and eventually became the Head of the Modelisation and Simulation Group for Aeroelasticity in 2022. Antoine also served as a Teaching Assistant at Ecole Centrale Paris from 2011 to 2015.

Antoine Placzek began their education in 2000 at Lycée Saint Louis, where they completed their high school studies. Antoine then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at ISAE-Supméca – Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris from 2002 to 2005. Following this, Antoine obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Rochelle Université, which they attended from 2005 to 2006. Their educational journey culminated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers between 2006 and 2009.
