Guillaume Bégou

Guillaume Bégou is a Research Engineer and PhD Student at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since October 2014, focusing on laminar-turbulent transition prediction in RANS code through simplified methods. Prior experience includes a research internship at C.E.A.T Centre d'Etudes Aerodynamiques et Thermiques, where non-intrusive measurement of a density field via Background Oriented Schlieren imaging was conducted. An internship at Corse Composites Aéronautiques involved improving manufacturing routes for pre-peg composite materials, while an entry-level internship at Snecma included dimensional control and preparation of turbine and compressor blades. Guillaume Bégou holds a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from ISAE-SUPAERO and has relevant degrees from ISAE ENSMA and Lycée academic institutions.
