Genevieve Barba

Genevieve Barba, PHR has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various roles. Genevieve is currently working as the Director of People Operations at Poplar Homes since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at 33 Realty for several years, starting as an Office Manager/HR in August 2016 and progressing to become a Human Resources Generalist in June 2018. From January 2019 to December 2019, they held the position of Human Resources Manager. Their most recent role at 33 Realty was as the Director of Human Resources, a position they held from January 2020 to July 2023. In this role, they collaborated with senior leadership, implemented HR policies and processes, and ensured compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Genevieve Barba, PHR has a degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota. Genevieve obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in May 2019.
