Janis Shearer

Janis Shearer has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Currently, they are a member of Chief, a private network designed to empower women leaders. Prior to that, Janis served as an Advisor at HyperGrowth Partners. Janis also held significant roles at OneTrust, Okta, and Auth0, where they led global marketing and demand generation teams. In addition, Janis has experience in senior marketing positions at K2, F5 Networks, and Russell Investments, where they focused on driving pipeline growth and developing sales enablement strategies. Earlier in their career, Janis worked at Marchex and Bank of America, further expanding their skill set. Janis holds an MBA and possesses certifications in CMP and CIPP/E.

Janis Shearer, CMP, CIPP/E, MBA attended the University of Washington from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a B.A. in Business Administration. Janis then went on to pursue their MBA at Seattle University from 2008 to 2015, specializing in Business. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications such as CIPP/E from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Certified Meeting Professional from the Convention and Industry Council, and Series 6 from FINRA.
