Roberto Marzo has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Roberto started as a Business Analyst at Oracle in 2009 and later became a Business Change Manager at Carphone Warehouse Ireland. In 2011, they rejoined Oracle as a Senior Business Analyst & Analysis Team Leader.
Marzo's career then took a shift towards sales strategy and operations. Roberto joined Salesforce in 2012 and progressed through various roles such as Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and eventually Vice President, Head of EMEA Sales Strategy and Operations. After leaving Salesforce in 2017, they worked as Managing Director, Sales Strategy and Business Operations at IPsoft in 2018.
In 2018, Marzo moved to MessageBird, where they served as VP of Sales Strategy and Demand Generation and later as Interim CRO, Global Head of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success until 2020. Following this, they joined DocuSign as VP, Sales Strategy and Operations - EMEA, LATAM, APAC, and eventually became the Head of Global Sales Strategy and Demand Generation until 2023.
In 2021, Marzo held positions as a Senior Advisor at INKEF Capital and Lengoo. Currently, they are the VP of Global Sales Strategy and Sales Development at OneTrust since March 2023.
Roberto Marzo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from Università di Pavia, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Roberto further pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Market Strategies at the same university from 2005 to 2007. In 2006 to 2007, they also studied Economics at Universidad de Málaga. Later in 2010, Roberto acquired Project Manager Qualification with a focus on Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner from the United Kingdom Office of Government Commerce.
