Senior Director Product Development at OneView Commerce

Christopher Browne has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both the private sector and the US Army.

In their most recent position at OneView Commerce, they served as the Senior Director of Product Development since March 2022. Prior to that, from July 2020 to May 2023, they held the role of Senior Scrum Master, where they oversaw Scrum practices for five Scrum Teams, worked with team Scrum Masters to remove impediments at the organizational level, and coordinated with all company departments to encourage Scrum processes. From July 2019 to July 2020, they worked as a Scrum Master, promoting and supporting Scrum principles for two development teams within OneView Commerce.

Before joining OneView Commerce, Christopher Browne had an extensive career in the US Army. From June 2018 to June 2019, they worked as the Manager of Maintenance Operations, where they maintained a fleet of over 200 vehicles and equipment, served as the key point of contact for status updates, and held sole responsibility for unit maintenance operations for the first 7 months. From May 2017 to June 2018, they served as a Senior Manager, supervising and directing an organization of 85 employees and 14 main battle tanks, mentoring junior managers, and operating independently for over 60 days in Georgia for training operations. From November 2016 to April 2017, they worked as the Operations and Planning Lead, managing and coordinating the international movement of over 400 military vehicles and equipment.

In their earlier years in the US Army, Christopher Browne held various roles. From June 2015 to January 2016, they served as the Manager of Maintenance Operations, maintaining a fleet of over 200 vehicles and coordinating maintenance support. From June 2014 to June 2015, they worked as an Assistant Senior Manager, directly managing the maintenance and accountability of $60M of equipment and organizing logistics support for a company of 250 people. From November 2012 to June 2014, they were a Senior Team Leader, leading and training a 16-man element and managing property worth over $25M. From February 2012 to November 2012, they worked as an Operations and Planning Assistant, managing tasks for a 550-man unit and writing the company monthly newsletter.

Christopher Browne obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications such as being a Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner™ from Agile Education by Scrum Inc.™, which they obtained in January 2022, and being a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in May 2019.
