Richard Eibrand

Richard Eibrand has a diverse work history in IT operations, information security, and system implementation. Richard worked at Oneview Healthcare as the Head of Information Security and IT Operations starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they were the IT Operations Manager at the same company since June 2016. Before joining Oneview Healthcare, they were employed by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as the ICT Service Delivery Manager from January 2010 to June 2016. In this role, they were responsible for rebuilding the network and internal systems application infrastructure and managing external vendors. Richard also worked at Propylon as an Implementation Engineer from June 2008 to December 2009, where they deployed and managed large-scale systems for client sites in the US. At Propylon, they held various roles such as Technical Business Analyst from March 2007 to April 2008, Plone/Zope Developer from June 2005 to March 2007, and Operations Engineer from March 2004 to June 2005.

Richard Eibrand completed their education with a BSc in Applied Science from Technological University Dublin in 2003, and later obtained an MSc in Health Informatics from Trinity College Dublin in 2015. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in areas such as CISM, Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and ITIL v3 Foundation.
