Dr. Jjuuko Edrin, MD has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Jjuuko recently served as the Medical Director at OneWorld Health. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Advisor for vaccine integration and PSE at FHI 360, with a focus on USAID Uganda projects. Dr. Edrin also held the position of Head of Clinical Operations at Victoria University Healthcare Centre, now known as UMC Victoria Hospital, for a period of six years.
Dr. Jjuuko Edrin, MD has a diverse education history. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Makerere University. Afterward, in 2014, they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In 2019, Dr. Edrin pursued a Master's degree in Health Care Management at Unicaf University, which they completed in 2021. They then enrolled in EUCLID (Euclid University) to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Global Health and Health Systems, which will be conferred in 2025. Lastly, in 2023, they are expected to commence a Master's degree in Family Medicine at The University of Edinburgh, which will conclude in 2026.
