Gord Mccullough

VP, Talent Management at Onex

Gord is responsible for leading Talent Acquisition activities across Onex in support of the firm’s continued growth. This includes overseeing the full life cycle of attracting, selecting and acquiring the right talent; candidate pool development; sourcing and recruitment; assessment; employer brand; and internal mobility. In addition, Gord is responsible for supporting broader initiatives related to Talent Management.

Prior to joining Onex, Gord held management roles with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in Toronto and London, including managing the talent functions for the Private Equity, Credit and European businesses. Previously, he spent five years as a consultant with a global executive search firm leading a variety of mandates including C-Suite roles across sectors and for Private Equity-backed organizations. Gord started his career in corporate banking operations and public policy research.

Gord holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and is an LLM (Candidate) at BPP University. He is also trained in conducting the Hogan personality and leadership assessment.
