Jimmy Moore

Jimmy Moore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jimmy began as a Co-Founder of Irish2wildwood, a transatlantic business venture, where they allocated housing and work placements for Irish students traveling to the USA. Following this, they pursued a PHD in research at the University of Manchester, focusing on SIMS and single cell and tissue analysis. Jimmy then worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at IMRSV, developing computer vision algorithms for real-world environments. Jimmy later became the Director of Applications at AIQ, where they worked on visually describing the world using artificial intelligence. Jimmy also served as a Partner at Uncharted Partners Pte Ltd, empowering businesses with next-generation technology solutions. Jimmy then joined Entrepreneur First as an Entrepreneur In Residence, before co-founding Untangle AI and serving as the CEO. Currently, Jimmy works at Onfido as a Team Lead AI Research, employing AI technology to assess the authenticity of government-issued IDs and facial biometrics for secure customer onboarding.

Jimmy Moore has a comprehensive education background in the field of data interpretation and big data. Jimmy pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Chemistry at the University of Limerick from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics at the University of Limerick in 2008 and 2009. To further enhance their research skills in data interpretation, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Manchester from 2009 to 2014. Later in 2015, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to participate in a program called "Tackling the Challenges of Big Data," where they focused on the field of Big Data.
