João Trindade

João Trindade's work experience begins in 2006 as an intern at INESC-ID. João then worked as a junior consultant at Portugal Telecom - SI and AGAP2 in 2007. In 2008, they became a researcher at INESC, where they stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, João worked as an Android Developer at WalletSaver. In 2015, they joined Talkdesk as a software engineer and later became a team lead from 2016 to 2019. João'smost recent role is as a software engineer at Onfido since 2019. Throughout their career, João also had roles as a student and assistant at Instituto Superior Técnico.

João Trindade began their education at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2002, where they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems. João completed this program in 2007. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, João also obtained various certifications. In 2003, they completed the Open Water Diver Course offered by PADI. Then, between 2013 and 2017, they completed several online courses through Coursera. These courses covered topics such as programming for Android handheld systems, cloud services, software architectures, functional programming principles in Scala, web intelligence, startup engineering, and systematic program design.
