Mujtaba Hassanpur has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Web Development Intern at Sacramento County. In 2006, they interned as a Hardware Design Intern at Intel Corporation, where they specialized in pre-silicon validation of a hardware-based video decoder. Mujtaba then joined Hewlett-Packard in 2008 as a Senior Firmware Engineer, working on Integrated-Lights Out 3 (iLO 3) firmware for Superdome 2 servers. Mujtaba joined Sling Media in 2012 as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, leading the development of Dish Explorer for iPad. In 2014, they worked at Scanadu as the Lead Mobile Software Engineer, responsible for developing a home urinalysis kit. In 2015, they joined MyFitnessPal as a Mobile Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2018, Mujtaba founded Ongo Labs and took on the role of Founder/CTO.
Mujtaba Hassanpur pursued their education in computer engineering, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree at California State University-Sacramento from 2002 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at San Jose State University where they completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
