Artem Demchenkov

Artem Demchenkov is a technology leader with extensive experience in founding and managing companies. Currently, Artem serves as the CTO and Co-Founder of a new venture since August 2025. Prior to this, Artem provided fractional and interim CTO/CPO services through Artem Demchenkov Consulting from October 2023 to September 2025, focusing on engineering team building, investment due diligence, and custom software development. As the Founder and CEO of Ylem (formerly Datamin) from October 2021 to July 2025, Artem managed product development and fundraising efforts. In a consulting capacity at Mercuryo from May 2021 to October 2021, Artem contributed to PCI DSS certification and AI solution prototyping. Earlier, as CTO and Co-Founder at Billie from December 2016 to May 2021, Artem played a significant role in scaling the company to over 120 employees. Artem holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute, obtained in February 2009.
