Sophia Mowla

Sophia Mowla is the current Chief Growth Officer at ONI. Sophia has over eight years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries, with a strong focus on venture capital. Prior to their current role, Sophia served as Global Co-Head of the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice at True Search, where they specialized in biotechnology, biopharma pharmaceuticals, digital healthcare, and medtech sectors. Sophia also spent time as a Research Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates and as an interim chief scientific editor at Geroscience.

Sophia earned their PhD in clinical medicine research oncology from Imperial College London in 2016. Sophia also holds a degree in biology from Cambridge University. In their free time, Sophia enjoys spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and playing tennis.

Sophia Mowla has a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from UCL. Sophia specialized in Cell & Molecular Biology during their studies.
