Solange Jacob

Director of Customer Experience Innovation and Culture at Onix

Solange Jacob has gained extensive work experience, starting as an Information Clerk at the University of Toronto Bookstore in 2007. Solange then worked as an Academic Researcher at the University of Toronto and served as a Reservations Assistant at Hart House Theatre. Jacob worked as a Project and Administrative Coordinator at the Black Youth Coalition Against Violence, and later as a Project Administrator/Coordinator at Community Care Information Management, where they managed numerous meetings and metrics distribution lists.

In 2011, Jacobs assumed the role of Project Coordinator/Jr Project Manager for Business IT Supply Chain Systems and Delivery Management Lead, IT Engineering & Infrastructure Projects for Shoppers Drug Mart. From there, they joined Onix Networking Corp. in 2013 as a Principal Consultant, PM, CM, and Transformation Lead.

At Onix, Jacob held several positions, starting as a Cloud Services Manager from August 2018 to December 2021. Solange then served as the Sn. Cloud SaaS Delivery Manager from December 2021 until March 2023. Finally, they became the Director of Customer Experience Innovation and Culture in February 2023. Jacob is skilled at managing projects, change management, digital experience, and resource forecasting, among other things, and actively participates in high-level projects driving IT implementations.

Solange Jacob began their education at ST JOSEPHS CONVENT from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. After that, they enrolled at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2009, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, studying Human Biology, Psychology, and Physiology.

In 2012, they joined the PMI SOC Chapter, where they obtained a PMP Prep Certificate to study Project Management. From 2012 up to 2022, they remained at PMI SOC Chapter and earned their PMP certification in good standing.

Solange Jacob has obtained various certification over the years, including a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner in May 2023, a Google Project Management Professional Certificate from Coursera in December 2021, and they also earned their PMP certification from PMI Southern Ontario Chapter in October 2012.
