Senior Scientist - QC and Process Improvement at oNKo-innate

Sam Law has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University in 2011. Subsequently, they worked as an Application Specialist at Jebsen & Jessen Technology, where they provided technical support and recommendations to clinicians regarding medical diagnostics and care equipment. In 2014, they joined the University of Melbourne, initially as an Academic Tutor and Laboratory Demonstrator, where they taught subjects related to biochemical and pharmaceutical engineering, bioprocess engineering, and process equipment design. In addition, they pursued their PhD in the field of microalgae biofuel production, focusing on the energy-balance deficit of the process. At the University of Melbourne, they also worked as a Research Scientist for a consultancy project, offering process improvement recommendations for a manufacturing-scale yeast-based bioprocess. Later, they joined Exopharm Ltd as a Senior Research Scientist, primarily responsible for refining and improving exosome-purification processes for various projects, including clinical studies and formulation stability studies. Currently, they are working at oNKo-innate Pty Ltd as a Senior Scientist, specializing in Quality Control and Process Improvement.

Sam Law completed their Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Penn State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, Sam pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
