Colin Thrasher

Colin Thrasher, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Colin is currently the Executive Director of Financial Services at Online Business Systems, a role they started in November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Business Advisor at the same company from March 2023 to January 2024.

Before joining Online Business Systems, Colin held various leadership positions. Colin served as the Vice President of Digital Banking and FinTech Solutions at Celero Solutions from March 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Program Director for Digital Banking at the same company from July 2019 to March 2021.

Colin has also worked at Quorum Software as the Director of Services Canada from April 2018 to July 2019. Colin gained valuable experience as the Director of E1 Client Services at Entero Corporation from August 2011 to April 2018.

Earlier in their career, Colin worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at CGI from August 2008 to August 2011. Colin also served as a Facilities Analyst at ConocoPhillips from January 2007 to August 2008 and as a Senior Joint Venture Analyst at Burlington Resources (ConocoPhillips Canada) from December 2004 to January 2007. Colin started their career as a Production Accountant and Non-Operated JV Analyst at Northrock Resources from March 2001 to December 2004.

Throughout their career, Colin has specialized in go-to-market and growth strategies for technology product and service operations. Colin is passionate about driving sustainable growth, exceeding customer expectations, and delivering successful initiatives and projects.

Colin Thrasher, MBA, holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a BSC in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Phoenix in 2009. Colin also holds a PJVA certification as a Petroleum Joint Venture Analyst from the Mount Royal University, obtained in 2007. In addition, they hold a Business Diploma in Finance from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) earned from 1998 to 2001. Their educational background also includes studying Economics at Augustana University College from 1995 to 1997. Colin has received additional certifications in Socially Responsible Leadership from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and in Petroleum Joint Venture Analyst from the Petroleum Joint Venture Association.
