David Vanderwees has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career at Crowntek Business Systems as a Technical Services Manager in 1989. David later joined The Canadian Wheat Board as a Senior Information Center Analyst in 1990. In 1995, they worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Intergraph. David then moved on to Electronic Data Systems as an Account Executive in 1998. In 1999, they had roles as a Technical Sales Specialist at Nexinnovations and as a Technical Sales Engineer at Lexmark. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at IBM as a Client Manager. In 2005, they became a Sales Director at EISI. In 2010, they joined Online Business Systems as a Senior Director of Business Development. David also served as the President of 547 Winnipeg Condominium Corporation from 2014 to 2017.
David Vanderwees completed an Electronic Technology degree in Computer/Electronic Technology at Red River College Polytechnic from 1982 to 1984. In 2006 and 2007, they earned an Executive Certification in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2009, they attended Questrom School of Business, Boston University for a program called IBM Leading Within The Territory Coverage Environment. In 2012, they obtained two sales certifications from Oracle Partner Network, including Oracle ADF Sales Certification and Service-Oriented Architecture 11g Sales Specialist. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an Executive Program from Singularity University in 2022 and a Giving Your Elevator Pitch certification from LinkedIn in 2020.
