Larry Skelly has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in the early 1980s, they worked as a Developer, Designer, and Architect at SHL Systemhouse, gaining extensive experience in design methodologies and various architectures. In 1993, they became the Chief Architect at MCI Systemhouse, where they managed a product team and co-founded a startup focused on building a commercial knowledge repository.
In 1999, Larry joined Primacy Corporation as the VP of Product Development, overseeing the engineering team and working on a brokerage management system for offshore banks. In 2000, they co-founded Coherente Inc., a financial aggregation platform, before it was acquired by Online Business Systems in 2002.
At Online Business Systems, Larry held multiple roles, including Director of Enterprise Architecture & Integration Services, Director of Enterprise Architecture & Integration Services, and Principal Consultant. Larry was responsible for guiding digital transformation, architecture, and cybersecurity initiatives for key clients. Larry also served as the Technical Fellow and Director of the Innovation Lab, focusing on emerging technologies for digital and virtual products.
Outside of their technology career, Larry was actively involved in the volleyball community. Larry served as the Treasurer for the Ontario Volleyball Association - Region 4 and was a member of the Ontario Volleyball Association Long Term Athlete Development Committee. Larry also held the position of Vice President of Operations at the Durham Attack Volleyball Club, managing various aspects of the organization's operations and strategy.
Currently, Larry Skelly is the Chief Technology Officer at Neoptio Health, where they lead R&D and product engineering. Larry'srole involves leveraging AI to automate the diagnosis and treatment of mental and cognitive health through Neoptio's patent-pending HealthSphere™ platform.
Larry Skelly attended the University of Waterloo from 1977 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science.
