Chris Nelms

Chris Nelms has over 23 years of work experience in the field of human resources and training. Most recently, they served as the Human Resources Director at WorkProud and Online Rewards, where they were responsible for designing and supporting employee incentive and loyalty programs. Prior to that, Chris held the position of Sr. Director of People Capital at Dickey's Capital Group. They also worked at Walmart as a Human Resources professional and at LoneStar People Partners, LLC as a Managing Director, providing HR solutions to companies. With extensive experience in training and development, Chris served as the HR Director of Training & Development at Cheddar's Casual Cafe, where they built systems and a large L&D team from scratch. They also held positions at Brinker International, where they oversaw the Training and Communications Department and created training programs aligned with the brand's strategy. Chris is a strategic professional with expertise in instructional design, performance management, and HR technology implementation.

Chris Nelms holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resource Development/Org. Psychology from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Chris has obtained a Training & Development Professional Certification from the same institution, specializing in Human Resources Development.
