Jin Hong Chin

Jin Hong Chin is the current Vice President of Engineering & Design at OnLoop. Prior to this, they were the AVP of Engineering at Validus from December 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were the Software Engineering Manager at foodpanda from June 2020 to November 2021. Chin began their career as a Software Engineering Manager at Traveloka from September 2018 to April 2020. Jin then became a Senior Software Engineer at Global Blue from November 2017 to September 2018. Chin was also the Lead Software Architect at Asia Fusion Technology Ltd from October 2015 to November 2017. In this role, they worked closely with the Product Owner and UX designer to ensure accurate delivery of the product. Jin was also in charge of building a SAAS based Gaming Platform and recruited and managed a team of 9 Software Engineers. Chin also designed a highly scalable & distributed system that was targeted at 6000 tps per tenant.

Jin Hong Chin completed a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong with a focus on digital systems security. Jin also holds a diploma in information technology from Temasek Polytechnic.
