Cleo Rowley's work experience includes roles in various companies and industries. Cleo started their career at Coles, where they held a mix of store leadership, human resources, and training roles for over a decade. Cleo then worked at Warringah Council as a Manager of Human Resources and Senior Human Resources Consultant. Following that, they served as a Business Management Lecturer and Assessor at Charles Sturt University/Study Group. Cleo later joined PMP Limited, where they held the position of Manager of Organization Effectiveness/Manager of People & Performance. Afterward, they worked at KAZ as the Human Resources Manager for NSW. Cleo then joined Telstra and held several positions, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Human Resources Manager for various divisions. Cleo then joined the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, where they initially served as the Director of People & Culture and later became the Chief People Officer. Currently, Cleo works as the Executive Director of People & Culture at Only About Children.

Cleo Rowley completed their Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Human Resources and Marketing from the University of Newcastle. Cleo then pursued a Masters of Human Resource Management degree with Distinction from Charles Sturt University. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management Psychology from Charles Sturt University. Currently, they are enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors to earn a GAICD degree.
