Jay Nakamura

Jay Nakamura has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jay is currently serving as the Director and Brand Lead at ONO PHARMA USA, INC. Jay joined this company in September 2022. Prior to this, Jay worked at MorphoSys as the Senior Director of F.O.R.C.E. and also served as the Director of Customer Engagement Marketing from March 2020 to March 2021. Before joining MorphoSys, they worked at Amgen as the Director of the Regional Marketing Team for Hematology from October 2018 to December 2019. Preceding Amgen, Jay held various roles at Novartis where they served as the Director of Marketing for Hematology, Director of Business Development and Strategy for Hematology/Oncology, Sr. Strategic Account Director, Regional Director, Sr. Account Manager, and Area Sales Manager, during different time periods from 2007 to 2018. Additionally, they gained valuable experience through a Marketing Preceptorship at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation from September 2012 to May 2013. Jay's career began at sanofi-aventis where they worked as a District Sales Manager from 1999 to 2007.

Jay Nakamura completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry at Whittier College from 1990 to 1994. Jay further pursued their education at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where they obtained their MBA degree in Finance from 1997 to 2000.
