Margit Englund

Margit Englund (Wedberg) brings extensive expertise in quality assurance and compliance within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Head of Quality Assurance at ONO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. since September 2022. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Orchard Therapeutics Limited as Senior Director, overseeing corporate and R&D quality from January 2020 to September 2022, and at Shionogi Limited as Director of GPvP/GCP Quality Assurance & Compliance from September 2013 to January 2020. Margit has cultivated a comprehensive background in pharmacovigilance and quality assurance since beginning a career at AstraZeneca R&D as a Drug Safety Specialist, with previous roles in significant firms such as Takeda, PAREXEL, and Wyeth. Margit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Gothenburg.
