Anton Safonov

Anton Safonov has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anton began their career in 1993 as an Electronic Repair Technician at Orbita Service. In 1997, they worked as a Software Developer at Mainor SmartTec and AB Intech. From 1999 to 2001, they served as a Software Developer and Group Lead at SOT Finnish Software Engineering, where they developed a graphical installer for Best Linux OS and created a web-shop solution using PHP and MySQL.

In 2001, Anton joined Aqris Software AS as a Senior Software Developer and Development Team Leader and successfully led the development of a Java refactoring tool called RefactorIT. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Software Architect at Codehoop, where they contributed to Eclipse DTP and WTP/JSDT projects and led the development of TimeGT time management tool.

Anton also gained experience as a Consultant at Videobet from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they founded Noon Labs and worked as a Software Developer and Founder, searching for interesting Java and C++ projects and conducting research on safety aspects of multi-rotor helicopters and other UAVs.

Since 2014, Anton has been employed at onoff Telecom SAS as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in telecom backend server development using Java, AWS, and MySQL. Anton has gained extensive experience with SMPP and MMS servers, calls, and number portability.

Anton Safonov completed their education in a chronological manner. Anton first attended the Tallinn Õismäe Russian Lyceum / 40th school from 1984 to 1995, where they obtained their secondary education degree with a focus on mathematics. Anton then went on to study at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 1995 to 2000, earning their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Later, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained their Master of Science degree, specializing in Information Technology.
