JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in the B2B software sales process, serving as the first point of contact in a large, in-depth sales cycle. This essential position is responsible for engaging with key decision makers over the phone and through digital channels, qualify prospects, and collaborate with the sales team to close opportunities. This person must demonstrate a deep understanding of clients’ needs and effectively position Onsharp’s products and services to meet those needs. This role partners closely with both the Business Development team to ensure timely delivery of results, adherence to budget goals, and the execution of B2B sales strategies with a high degree of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Actively participate in networking activities to build and expand the client base.
Represent Onsharp at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
Spot new opportunities and bring them to the attention of the Business Development team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional inside sales environment.
Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
Skill in organizing and managing time across multiple tasks.
Skill in understanding customer needs and providing quality customer service.
Technology/Solution selling experience preferred.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with interaction with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
