Huyen Vu, MSHR, PHR, SHRM-CP

Huyen Vu, MSHR, PHR, SHRM-CP has over thirteen years of experience in Human Resources. Huyen began their career in 2006 as a Substitute Teacher for the Garden Grove Unified School District. That same year, they also worked as a Tutor & Educational Consultant for Club Z! In-Home Tutoring. In 2007, they became a Sr. HR Business Partner / Benefits Supervisor for Western Dental Services. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Human Resources Manager for Education Management Systems, where they managed and implemented all phases of human resources, including compliance, compensation, benefits, documentation, employee relations, credentialing, safety, health, and leave of absence programs. In 2015, they took on the role of Director of Human Resources for Onsite Dental.

Huyen Vu holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from Chapman University, a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (Major) and Mathematics (Minor) from California State University, Long Beach. In addition, they are certified as a SHRM-CP (obtained in May 2015) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
