Kristina McRaney

Kristina McRaney is an accomplished band director with extensive experience in music education, currently serving as the Band Director for Hunters Creek Middle at Onslow County Schools since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kristina directed the North Gulfport Middle School band for grades 7-8 in the Harrison County School District from June 2013 to June 2021, earning notable accolades such as the 2019-2020 North Gulfport Teacher of the Year and the 2018 GCBDA Middle School Band Director of the Year. Kristina's previous positions include Band Director at Picayune School District and Associate Band Director in Richardson Independent School District, contributing to student success in festivals, honor bands, and prestigious ensembles. Kristina holds both a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music from The University of Southern Mississippi, alongside an education from Jones College.
