Courtney Givens

Courtney Givens has extensive work experience in contracts management and procurement. Courtney most recently worked as the Director of Contracts Management & Services Procurement at OnSwitch since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Contract Manager at Cupertino Electric, Inc. from October 2020 to February 2021. From April 2019 to October 2020, they worked as a Global Contracts Manager (Software and Technology) at Emerson Automation Solutions. Courtney also held the role of Director of Contracts Management at Saviynt, Inc. from March 2017 to March 2019. Courtney has prior experience in contracts management roles at Emerson Process Management, SunPower Corporation, and Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Additionally, Courtney worked as a Supply Chain Consultant at Resources Global Professionals and as a Supply Chain Manager Wholesale Power/Senior Category Manager at LCRA. Courtney began their career as a Contract Specialist at Applied Materials. Throughout their career, Courtney has demonstrated expertise in developing and negotiating contracts, managing legal agreements and compliance, and implementing effective contract management processes and procedures. Courtney has also showcased strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Courtney Givens completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Richard King High School from 1983 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, and Unconscious Bias, all from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
