Benita Wozniak has extensive experience in the Health IT industry, starting with their role as a Help Desk Specialist for Baylor College of Medicine in 2005. Benita then worked as an EHR Analyst/Trainer and later became EHR Administrator at Sadler Clinic, overseeing the installation of NextGen EHR/EPM system and upgrades, and leading successful implementation of Meaningful Use projects. In 2010, Benita worked as a Health IT Consultant (contract position) at Qualis Health. In 2011, they became a Systems Integration Senior Advisor at Dell, where they analyzed business needs and goals and provided configuration, implementation, support, and maintenance for enterprise EHR systems to healthcare systems. Currently, Benita works at Ontada as an Implementation Manager - Practice Insights Analytics, where they support value-based care performance improvement initiatives through analytics and directs the implementation project life cycle from initiation and planning through deployment and hand-off.

Benita Wozniak earned their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University from 2001 to 2004. Benita later pursued a Master's degree in Health Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, in 2017, they completed a course on The Business of Value-Based Care from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Benita also obtained several certifications including Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in March 2022, and Learning Confluence 2018 and Learning Jira Software from LinkedIn in May 2020.
