Gayathri Namasivayam

Gayathri Namasivayam has extensive experience in Data Science and Machine Learning. Gayathri is currently working at Ontada as a Sr. Manager in the field of Data Science and Machine Learning. Prior to this, they were a Senior Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at the same company. Gayathri also worked at GE Healthcare as a Data Scientist for three months in 2020. Gayathri was an AI Fellow at Insight Data Science for four months in 2019. Gayathri has also worked as a Lecturer at San Jose State University for two temporary positions; from 2011 to 2013, and then again from 2018 to 2019. Gayathri worked at FutureWei Technologies as a Machine Learning Engineer and Post Doc/Data Scientist for a year each from 2014 to 2015 and from 2012 to 2014, respectively. Prior to this, from 2004 to 2010, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky. Gayathri'sresearch primarily focused on Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning.

Gayathri Namasivayam earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Madras in 2002. Gayathri later pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specifically in the field of Artificial Intelligence, at the University of Kentucky and completed it in 2011.
