Matthew Whitesell

Matthew Whitesell is a Senior Data Scientist at Ontada since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist II at UnitedHealth Group from June 2017 to June 2022. Matthew also has experience as a Technology Development Intern at UnitedHealth Group from June 2016 to August 2016.

Matthew Whitesell attended the University of Virginia from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems and Information Engineering. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have obtained multiple certifications. These include the IBM Deep Learning certification from IBM in October 2021, Python for Data Science certification from eCornell in April 2021, edX Verified Certificate for Data Science Ethics from edX in April 2021, IBM Python Data Science certification from IBM in March 2021, MasterTrack in Machine Learning for Analytics from the University of Chicago in October 2020, Machine Learning II: Advanced Techniques certification from Coursera in September 2020, Machine Learning: Introduction to Machine Learning certification from Coursera in July 2020, and Advanced Statistical Thinking for Machine Learning certification from Coursera in May 2020.
