Wanmei Ou

Wanmei Ou has extensive experience in the field of data analytics and product strategy. Wanmei currently holds the position of VP of Product, Life Science and Data Analytics at Ontada since March 2022. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they served as the White House Presidential Innovation Fellow and Head of Data and Analytics at the Office of the VA CTO, where they led the development of a data-driven decision-making platform for the VA. Before their role at the White House, they worked at Merck as the Director of Precision Medicine & Data Science from 2016 to 2021, leading the development of a real-world data platform and participating in the CMS AI Challenge.

Wanmei Ou also has experience at Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit, where they worked as the Director of Product Strategy in Translational and Precision Medicine from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009, and as a Summer Intern at Goldman Sachs, Siemens Corporate Research, and GE Transportation Systems in various years. Wanmei started their career at The New York Blood Center as a Programmer Analyst/Researcher from 2001 to 2003.

Wanmei Ou has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York. They also have a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
