Chris Black

Chris Black has over a decade of experience in granting and project management, currently serving as the Granting Business Lead at the Ontario Arts Council since October 2014. In this role, Chris has taken on multiple titles, including Granting Project Officer and Nova System Lead, responsible for the development and deployment of OAC's online grant management system. Prior to this, Chris held the position of Program Developer for Artists in Residence Education and Associate Director of Granting at Essential Skills Ontario from January 2014 to August 2023. Notable past roles also include Manager of Projects at Meta Strategies and Organizational Development Consultant. Chris holds education credentials from Concordia University and Western University.
