John George, P.Eng, PMP, currently serves as the Sector Manager for Automotive and Mobility at the Ontario Centre of Innovation since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Program Manager and Design Engineer at McLaren Engineering from June 2019 to August 2022, as well as an Aerodynamics Engineer at Watfly, where significant contributions were made to the development of a compact electric VTOL passenger aircraft and enhancements in propeller designs. Additional experience includes a co-op position as an NDT Technologist at JANA Corporation, focusing on software development and ultrasonic testing algorithms, and earlier work as a Design Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, specializing in CAD design and ASME standards. John completed a Master of Engineering with a Graduate Diploma in Design from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
