Philippa King currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Programs at the Ontario Centre of Innovation, a position held since December 2019, where responsibilities include leading key strategic initiatives such as the Critical Technology Initiative and the Digitalization Competence Centre. Prior to this role, Philippa King accumulated extensive experience at Ontario Centres of Excellence from May 2007 to December 2019, holding various positions including Director of Advanced Technology Platforms and Senior Manager of Digital Economy Technologies. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Laboratory Manager at the University of Ottawa. Philippa King holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Postdoctoral Research degree in Nano-magnetic Materials from the University of Florida.
