Melissa Schmidt

Melissa Schmidt currently serves as the Environmental, Health and Safety / Human Resource Coordinator at Teutech Industries Inc. since April 2018 and has also been working as the Health And Safety Coordinator at Ontario Drive & Gear Ltd. since April 2015. In the latter role, Melissa focuses on enforcing workplace health and safety standards to reduce employee injuries and accidents, and holds a Management Co-Chair position on all three safety committees. Previously, Melissa functioned as an H&S Administrator, providing administrative support for health and safety initiatives. Educationally, Melissa obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and furthered studies at Conestoga College from 2015 to 2018.
