Helen Guo

Helen Guo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy policy and compliance. Currently serving as the Manager of Distribution Policy and Compliance at the Ontario Energy Board since November 2017, Helen leads public consultations on various critical issues, including Distributed Energy Resources connections and electricity sector resilience. Previously, Helen held the position of Manager of Industry Policy & Compliance, focusing on transmission and distribution policy, regional planning, and compliance. Helen's career at Hydro One spanned from August 2007 to November 2017, where responsibilities included collaboration with teams on network management engineering. Helen holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering & Management from McMaster University.
