Evelyne Lima Fernandes

Evelyne Lima Fernandes is a Senior Research Scientist specializing in Drug Discovery at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since August 2019, following roles in drug development and research at the University Health Network and the Structural Genomics Consortium at the University of Toronto. With extensive experience in targeting cancer stem cells and organoid models, Evelyne has developed various assays and supervised lab teams while mentoring students. Education includes a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Université Paris Cité, complemented by project management training from the University of Toronto. Evelyne has also contributed as a Scientific Advisor for an early-stage startup, focusing on oncology and precision medicine.
