Riley Cox

Riley Cox is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors, currently serving as the Senior Client Coordinator at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since January 2021. In this role, Riley oversees the Ontario Tumour Bank, facilitating access to high-quality tumour-related biospecimens for researchers. Prior experience includes a position as an Associate in Biotechnology at HaloHealth, where Riley evaluated health tech startups for investment opportunities, and as a Business Development Coordinator at the RIC Centre, supporting technology entrepreneurs. Earlier, Riley managed operations and staff at the 1181 Lounge from 2009 to 2017, achieving significant revenue growth. Riley's career began with an administrative role at the BC Cancer Agency, following education culminating in a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.
