Michelle Brantley, CM has a diverse work history in the airport and capital development industry. Michelle started their career at the Port of Seattle in 1998 as an Art and Exhibit Program Coordinator, where they managed art acquisitions for capital projects and oversaw the exhibition program at Sea-Tac Airport. Michelle then worked their way up to become the Assistant to the Director of Facilities and Capital Programs, responsible for supporting the director in various administrative tasks. In 2006, Michelle transitioned to the role of Program Assistant, providing assistance in program management.

In 2013, Michelle took on a leadership role as the Airport Capital Development Senior Manager at the Port of Seattle. In this position, they led projects that aimed to improve airport operations and facilities at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Michelle worked closely with various airport departments and guided projects through the planning, authorization, funding, and implementation stages. Michelle successfully ensured that all project requirements were met during delivery.

In 2019, Michelle joined the Ontario International Airport as the Director of Planning. In this role, they led a team of planning, business, and engineering professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive capital planning and delivery program. Michelle prioritized capital development projects and improvements to accommodate future demand and maintain operational continuity. Additionally, Michelle advocated for airport-related business and tenant development to stimulate economic vitality in the region.

Currently, Michelle holds the position of Chief Capital Development Officer at the Ontario International Airport, starting in July 2021. In this role, they continue to lead the multi-disciplinary team responsible for capital planning and delivery. Their responsibilities include prioritizing capacity, modernization, and asset renewal projects to support the airport's ongoing development.

Michelle Brantley, CM has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of Washington Tacoma. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management and Leadership from WGU Washington. Michelle has obtained two additional certifications, including "Difficult Conversations: Talking About Race at Work" from LinkedIn, which they completed in August 2020, and "Certified Member, AAAE" from the American Association of Airport Executives, which they obtained in July 2014.
