Mushkiiki Nibi Kwe Lindsey Lickers

Lindsey Lickers, known as Mushkiiki Nibi Kwe, has a diverse and extensive background in community engagement, arts facilitation, and Indigenous advocacy. Currently serving as a member of the Indigenous Advisory Council for STEPS Public Art and Indigenous Chair of the Indigenous Arts Committee at the Toronto Arts Council, Lindsey has also held positions as a Community Safety Liaison at the Ontario Native Women's Association and a Trauma Support Manager at the Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto. As a freelance facilitator since 2012, Lindsey specializes in creating interactive arts workshops with an Aboriginal focus. Additional roles include Indigenous Anti-Trafficking Liaison at the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto and leadership positions with Prince's Charities Canada and Kanata Village. Lindsey's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University.
