Peter Shena

Peter Shena has extensive experience in pension management and policy, currently serving as a Member of the Board for The Association of Canadian Pension Management since September 2014. As of April 2001, Peter has held multiple leadership roles at the Ontario Pension Board, including Executive Vice President and Chief Pension Officer, with previous positions as Senior Vice President in various capacities related to pensions and stakeholder relations. Peter also contributed as a Public Director on the Financial Planning Standards Council Board from November 2013 to June 2020. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Policy Development at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan from 1997 to 2001 and as Senior Pension Policy Advisor at OMERS from 1987 to 1997. Peter holds a degree from York University.
