Lisa Black-Meddings has extensive experience in education and labor negotiations, currently serving as the Executive Assistant for Negotiations and Contract Maintenance at the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation since May 2021. Previously, Lisa has held the role of Chief Negotiator at OSSTF Toronto since 2011 and has been an Executive Officer with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation since July 2009. From February 1999 to June 2009, Lisa taught at the Toronto District School Board. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Education from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trent University.
