Juan Blackwell has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Juan is currently the Director and Head of Credit & Counterparty Risk Management at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Principal and Head of Credit & Counterparty Risk Management at the same company from January 2017 to June 2022.

Juan Blackwell earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Double Major Business Economics and Finance from Ave Maria University, where they attended from 2000 to 2003. Juan later pursued an MBA with a focus on Corporate Finance at HEC Montréal from 2004 to 2005.
