Maggie Childe

Maggie Childe is a seasoned professional in sustainable investing with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainable Investing at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since July 2023, Maggie previously held the position of Head of Sustainable Investing at iA Financial Group from April 2022 to July 2023, where leadership in advancing sustainable investment strategies and stewardship efforts was key. Prior roles include Head of ESG, Canada at Manulife Investment Management, where responsibilities encompassed various ESG functions, and Senior Manager Advisory Services at Sustainalytics, focusing on sustainable investment strategy development for asset owners and managers. Maggie's career also includes roles at RBC Capital Markets and CIBC World Markets, alongside academic credentials that include a Master's in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s from the University of Toronto.
