Engineering Lead, End-user Technology at Ontario Teachers'​ Pension Plan

Niraj Arora has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Niraj began their career as a Sales Representative at TELUS in 2008 and later transitioned to a Service Desk Analyst role at Meridian Credit Union. In 2013, they worked as an IT Systems Analyst and a part-time IT Student - Communications Analyst at the City of Mississauga.

In 2014, Niraj worked as an IT Support Specialist at Wings Food Products before becoming a Technical Consultant at Define Mobility. In 2016, they joined Info-Tech Research Group as a Service Desk Analyst.

Niraj's most recent role, which began in 2016, is with Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Niraj has held multiple positions within the company, including Systems Analyst and Engineer, End-User Technology. In these roles, they contributed to various projects such as implementing Microsoft Intune, optimizing mobile device enrollments, and setting up Azure AD SSO and authentication policies. Niraj also worked on Azure app registration, M365 administration, and enabled self-service password reset and multifactor authentication for users. In addition, Niraj implemented and promoted the adoption of Windows Hello for Business and Always-On VPN.

Niraj Arora attended Mohawk College from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Network and System Administration/Administrator. During their time at Mohawk College, they did not obtain a specific degree. Additionally, Niraj Arora has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, both earned in April 2023. Niraj also holds a Certified ScrumMaster certification obtained from the Scrum Alliance in July 2016.
